A Direct Thank You to Teachers and Healthcare Workers
Chipotle Mexican Grill is launching a new Chipotle free burritos 2025 program to give back to two key groups in the community teachers and healthcare workers. The company will give out over $2 million worth of free burritos during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5–9) and National Nurses Week (May 6–12).
200,000 Free Entrée Cards for Verified Participants
As part of the giveaway, 100,000 teachers and 100,000 healthcare professionals will receive free entrée e-gift cards. Those interested can register on dedicated websites, and selected participants will be asked to verify their employment using ID.me.

The entry period runs from April 30 through May 12, and winners will be contacted starting the week of May 13.
Support Via Customer Round Up Donations
In addition to the giveaway, Chipotle encourages customers to support two nonprofit organizations through its Round-Up for Real Change feature. Customers can choose to round up their order total on the app or website, with the extra amount donated to:
- Kids In Need Foundation, which provides school supplies to students and teachers.
- American Nurses Foundation, which funds research and professional support for nurses.
Chipotle’s Ongoing Community Support
Since 2016, Chipotle has given over $16 million in free meals to educators and healthcare workers. This year’s program is the largest to date, according to the company. It continues the company’s practice of recognizing and supporting workers in schools and healthcare settings.
